LA RAMS PHAROH COOPER & MIKE THOMAS TO SERVE AS GRAND MARSHALLS OF MAKE-A-WISH GREATER LA’S WALK FOR WISHES
Wide Receivers Pharoh Cooper and Mike Thomas of the Los Angeles Rams will serve as Grand Marshalls of Make-A-Wish Greater LA’s Walk for Wishes on April 7th. The Rams organization has been a long-time supporter of Make-A-Wish, which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
The Walk for Wishes will take place at the Rams home stadium, the LA Memorial Coliseum. Cooper and Thomas, along with Wish Kid Ambassadors Francine and Michael, will celebrate Make-A-Wish Greater LA’s 35th Anniversary year, with a ceremonial lighting of the Olympic torch to kick off the Walk.
“It is because of generous partners like the LA Rams and our Champion Sponsor, Frigo Cheeseheads, that we have been able to reach nearly 10,000 children in LA with life-changing wishes,” said Chris Sichel, Interim President and CEO, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles. “We are so grateful to this community for making our work possible. This year’s Walk for Wishes will be a celebration of 35 years of wish granting as well as a tribute to our brave wish kids and our army of supporters throughout the city.”
Along with the LA Rams, the LA Coliseum and Frigo Cheeseheads, the Walk for Wishes is sponsored by The Goldwin Foundation, the Los Angeles Football Club, and Wells Fargo, among many more. The event will take place this Saturday, April 7th at 9 a.m. at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and will have live music, food, a fun zone for kids and activities for all ages.
